Well there are going to be some thrilled people opening their Christmas cards later this year such fabulous entries last week.
This week its Lyn's (Blackdragon) turn to chose the theme at Tuesday Taggers. If you know our resident goth her choice of black will not be a surprise. There is a lot you can do with black its a great combination colour and we all use it at times just in stamping. I love playing with white and white so when Lyn put this theme up black on black occured to me as an interesting experiment.
The centre rose was stamped and embossed on black card then cut out to be layered onto a black paper mat punched all round with a MS round the page set. Paper flowers have been punched out of black tissue the smaller ones out of the same paper as the mat. Sparkly black fibre threaded through the punched edges of the mat and a piece of lace coloured black with Dawn Bibbys Midnight gold and then with a black ink pad lies under the punched edge of the mat. Black stickles in the centre of the paper flowers a black eyelet and more black fibre finish the tag off.
The DT and great Guest designer have made some gorgeous 'lovely' black pieces this week pop over and take a look. Hope you have a fun making your own 'lovely' black pieces, don't forget to leave a link so we can come and see.
