Do not adjust your set and yes the picture is in focus, but it is a distressed tag and not a drop of alcohol ink!
Time for a new challenge at Lots to do this time Hilda has chosen a Distressed Tag as the subject. Distressing has become very popular with many beautiful creations representating the style. Have decided to go with a bit of edge this week and gone for the grungy end of distressed.
Screwed a tag up opened it out and blended DI, Forest Moss, Rusty Hinge, Brushed corduroy, and black soot. Tore a page out of a book kept for the purpose, stuck it onto the tag which was screwed up again and more DI applied. The eye stamped in Nick Bantock Green is from Studio 490, the sentiment 'true friendship is seen through the heart not through the eyes' is from TH stamped in Nick Bantock red and then overstamped in soot black. The resulting out of focus effect makes a fabulous distress effect I think. Finally little metal charms on clear nylon thread.
Looking forward to seeing your distressed tags.
