The Stampman fortnightly challenges are now at number 4, the theme this time is music. Their delightful Classical Instruments set of stamps are an obvious choice for this challenge the swirls and flourishes on these images are so reflective of sound they are great to use, so I did.
It is also week 12 of Linda's Compendium of Curiosities challenge. This week its Chipped Enamel detals found on page 44 of the book.
The metal letters spelling MUSIC were treated to the chipped enamel technique ready to be attached. Music printed off and blended with Scattered Straw, then crumpled up opened and treated to Barn Door and Frayed Burlap which was picked up by the peaks and also worked into the paper in some places. The image was stamped and embossed with black ep, spellbinder label used to cut it out and DI inks applied with stencil still roughly in place.
