Another week-end a new challenge at Lots to do You shared some smashing distressed tags with us last week thank you all. This week the theme is monochrome. The use of one colour in a varity of shades, might have cheated a little here LOL.
It was put to the team that this is shades of mud or brown. The background card is from a kit 'old world message cards' with the bottom torn off so that it fits a 5" square. TH flourish mask placed over it and DI in Scattered Straw, Rusty Hinge, Brushed Corduroy and Frayed Burlap blended over it and the square base card. Grunge paper worked over with Scattered Straw, the TH bird stamped in Frayed Burlap. Image cut out wings curled to fit card and Tarnished Brass distress stickles smoothed over the right hand side. Brown yellow and orange (all kinda the same colour family) attached to card under grunge paper bird. So with the exception of the masked areas this page for the grunge book swap uses the same colour family, and there is a school of thought that black and white are not colours..... Oh the prompt for this page 'This song is for you'.
Will you share your monochrome makes with us at Lots to do this week, please do check out the blog to see Hilda's and Alison's fab black and white pieces.
