Goodby September Hello October, time for season change and challenge changes. At Something Completely Different its going to be a month of colour! Starting with Autumn Colours; Brown, Orange and Gold. While at Sir Stampalot its Autumn Breezes with buttons and a bow.
Well how can you resist challenges like these? Not easily when you have a 12" square brown canvas just waiting to be used. Lots of DI inks in shades of brown and orange blended over the top, masks stuck on and lots of Glimmer Mists in oranges sprayed on followed by Cosmic Shimmers and Memory mist. There are new paints from Viva 'Inca Gold' picked them up last Sunday, worked gold and orange around the web masks. Dreamweaver stencil and gold diamension paste bottom left, canvas left to dry. Later the stencil was used again and while it was drying Viva Ferro and Viva Croco spread around the canvas. Leaf images stamped onto copper metal sheet. Leaves cut out and stuck on the front of the canvas. But why stop there? Sir Stampalot want buttons and a bow. In my minds eye orange coloured flower shaped buttons sttached and a raffia ribbon wrapped round canvas and tied in a bow at the front.
Thank you Sioux for suggesting that I enter this at Artistic Stamper Creative Team Sioux has just joined the DT there and this months theme is layers.

ReplyDeletewowza ~ what a fabulous project zoe! so much eye candy!
ReplyDeleteWOW what a lot we have going on here. It looks absolutely fantastic. I'm guessing it was trial and error, just keep going until you like what you see - well I do (like what I see). Love the way you've emphasised the web and the leaves look so real, just like the fearns we see in the woods at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteWonderful use of your special paints! Thanks for sharing with us at SCD :)
