Sir Stampalot workshop

Had a great time yesterday at a workshop led by my great blog buddy Brenda and new blog buddy Chris The workshop at Sir Stampalot is a wonderful light airy place to work so well equiped well worth a visit if you get the opportunity. Still a bit confused why it took 2.5 hours to drive 160 miles but given an average of 60 mph it stacks up.

Anyway these are 3 of the 4 cards we made, my colour choice for the 4th means it needs finishing here at home. The two Christmas cards were designed by Chris if you visit her site you'll see she loves to use buttons she has a great big box full and we all chose buttons for our chrissie tree cards, you cannot see them here they are hidden by the tree at the front. Brenda introduced Alcohol ink and acetate to a couple of the girls including Chris who fell in love with it and created a wonderful piece of acetate with it. We used it on the back of stamped acetate and then layered a torn page and crumpled tin foil behind it.

a great day will try to get back up for another of the girls workshops.

  4. Glad you had a fab day Zoe. It's good to get together with like minded people and have a play isn't it. We've just heard that one of our cutsie craft shops changes hands this weekend and the new owner wants to go into mixed media, grunge etc, and she is planning on doing evening workshops - can't wait!!!

Yeah we've tried all sorts from the vets, but he is very timid anyway, he doesn't even like the dustbin wagon and it comes every week!!!!
