Lots to do - Favourite Technique

Saturday morning and another week-end whoopie its sad really when I was out of work getting this temping opportunity was and still is great but now routine has kicked in and by Friday afternoon I'm counting the hours LOL.

This week at Lots to do Hilda suggested we share our favourite techniques and ask you to do the same. Easy right we all have a favourite? Why then have I spent week wrackiing my brains about this?

Firstly and fundamentally I'm a rubber stamper at least in paper crafting terms so rubber stamping is the obvious choice. Thats the easy part now which stamps on what and why. The last page of the Lots to do Revisited forum has been waiting, the prompt is Arsnic and Old Lace. Technique and subject all that remained was the making of it. Stamped the chap onto my 5" square and masked him, blended the board with DI, removed mask and coloured him with Promarkers with some glossy accents on his hair and shoes.  Pearlised card punched with MS deep edge punch down both sides and attached over image so he can peep through the trellis. Lady stamped onto basic grey paper front and back cut both out so that the coloured side could be used as her dress. A little off white lace gathered into a little rosette pearls stitched into the middle. Finally some Perfect Pearls poured into a little bottle and attached to the front of the lace.  Not a bad way to start the week-end.

Got a favourite technique, hope you'll pop over to Lots to do and share it with us.

It is silly isn't it that sometimes we fret over the obvious. I somehow think I ahve something that fits this one with more than a few dabs of Timmy.

Your creation is super, lovely clever elements of interest, just great.

    Enjoy the weekend.

  6. Oh Zoe I do miss coming over to see you and what great stuff you have been creating. I see you hd a go at the perfect Distress and what a lvoely piece it is too. I am sorry I haven't been over to see you - but I am still alive, just. I have had the girls today so must catch up with paperwork tomorrow, and I am determined to still keep the creating and making going. Work continues to take all of my other time and will for another week or so. I will be back to commenting more regularly soon. Thankyou for staying in touch with me and don't work too hard yourself.

Thanks for coming by my blog. Wanted to let you know that my piece for this challenge is PAPER cut and paste, NOT DIGITAL!
