This little birdhouse box was great fun to decorate and slot togather. It is of course a Tando chipboard box. You can buy Tando chippie at Bubblyfunk and Angel Crafts and Craft Barn for inspiration check out the Tando blog
For this box the walls were stamped with a woodgrain stamp that Andrew at Tanda Stamps made for me it really came into its own here. The walls were then painted with watered down acrylic paint and the front tabs hole punched to take a small wooden dowel. The sides were then glued to the bottom. For the tile effect roof the scollop edge was traced down each side in black pan, once again watery Acrylic was painted over and when that was dry ProMaster cool grey #4 marked out the patten again. There is a pair of hinges holding the two roof parts togather. Once assembled wire stemed paper flowers decorate the front and some Reindeer moss is poking out of the hole in the front. Finally some distress is achieved with Viva Craco on the walls and Viva ferro on the roof. Makes a useful little storage box.
