Sheila, She to us, has organised another book swap 5" squares again but this time each of the 12 swappers chose a theme and we each make 12 pages' one for each person in their chosen area. To keep the pages a surprise I'm only sharing those made for people who do not visit this little place, at least I don't think they visit if they do they do not comment LOL
This page is for Sonja and she chose Steampunk, a little head scratching later i wondered it Leonardo da Vinci was perhaps a Steampunk artist. Background paper(distressed with TH cog masks and DI) a page of his war machine sketches no images of his flying machine available for me to use. Some of the sketching is highlighted with glass watch fronts. A watche's innards connected by ball chain to an ornate jewelled square plate. Cork to represent the softer machinal edge of Edwardian steampunk and rose emblem reflecting that beauty and machinery go well together. Altered glue on top for the soft flowing aspects of steampunk. Hope when she receives her book Sonja will like this page and all the others.
