CoC #27 - Distress Misting Masks

After missing last week was especailly keen to join in with Linda's Compendium of Curiosities weekly challenge. I'm sure you have heard of this challenge before and know we are asked not to share the details of the technique from the book we use. Those can be found on page 60 this week. So having gathered the required ingredients  my background was made up, a little subtle and just right for a folksy music themed card.

Various stamps layered up and some di blended round the edge of the card the sentiment stamped and embossed in WOW very fine gold.  A little sakura around the words just to help them pop.

The guitar is another little piece of Tando Chipboard sprayed with the distress mist allowed to dry. Strings etc drawn on and then the same gold ep touched over to give it a bit of wear.

Sometimes you just need a little simple card.

  11. It's great to have you back, Zoe! I hope all's well with you!

This is a truly gorgeous card, girlfriend. The colors are so warm and pretty and the subtle masking is just perfect for the imagery. That little guitar rocks! You say it's a simple card, but it certainly looks sophisticated.
