Lots to do - Something New

Happy New Year, did you celebrate last night, well perhaps you have not gone to bed yet and are celebrating now.    As another year starts thank you all for so much support encouragment and friendship over the last 12 months and before.   2010 was not kind to everyone an up and down year for me that sees me start 2011 un-employed with all the un-certainty that that brings but knowing that something will happen it is possible to be confident that the IMPs and I will be fine.   For you may it be possible to leave your troubles and problems behind you on the threshold of the new year.

Its just about the end of the holiday season now and as life returns to normal we at Lots to do are starting the year off with a new challenge. To mark the date today we are looking for your celebrations of something new. A new job maybe or baby anything new you care to share.

This picture is a gift for a forum friend whose husband is a vicer, they are moving to a new parish in about a month.   I'll send this to you Jackie as soon as you let us have the new address and a date for the move, hope you do not mind my sharing it with the world today.

Two Tando sets were used in this and the basic frame shape came from 'the Works' covered with Vanessa Arbuthnott papers.   Chipboard shapes painted with Viva Inca gold and Viva ferro paste, colours added with Promarkers and more papers this time from Dovecraft.   Church windows Quality Street wrappers.   Viva Ferro and Viva Craco spread around the outer frame.

What new day or event will you celebrate don't forget to pop over to Lots to do and share your project with us.

  1. Great idea for a theme, love the quality street windows!!!

Happy New Year to you, hope the job hunting isn't for too long and something comes your way pretty soon.

We are just stopping Fraz from digging through the settee with all the fireworks that are going off, hoping to go to bed fairly soon when they've settled down which shouldn't be too long!!!!
