Wonderful array of winter flowers on display last week smashing reminder that spring is on the way. This week at Lots to do we have something something different and a tool challenge. Here in the UK Brayering is becoming increasingly popular so we thought you might like to share some brayering with us.
Sadly this is the last Lots to do Challenge, Hilda has been running it for 3 years and feels she would like to do something different. If you are one of the inky fingered, altered/distressed crafters out there seeking a refuge from all the cuteness the world has to offer all I can say for now is watch this space.
I have used B&J Waterfall here on glossy card, overstamped with an aspects of design stamp in Stayzon, cut out close to the stamped image. The background is a photocopy of an old map torn screwed up and distressed with DI. The waves are strips of Friendly Plastic buckled. The Compass is of course Tando chipboard that has been sprayed with shiny mica sprays and touched up with silver paint. Words Happy Birthday stamped in the same Stayzon as the ship.
Pop over to Lots to do to see what the team have come up with using this versatile tool. What will you use your brayer to do we would love to come and see. Thank you to everyone who has joined in during the life of the challenge it has been a real pleasure visiting you all and become friends with many of you as well, Thank you Hilda for the site and for inviting me to join you on the DT these last few months.
