Got very excited when this fortnights The Stampman Challenge was announced. The theme is Oriental and that is something I love.
A while ago The Stampman created an Oriental kit included the fan papers I have used here. The center panel is a Tanda stamp coloured with Pro-Markers.
Went for a shappy chic feel with this screen. Started with A4 Black card trimmed the width slightly and to make life easier the center panel is 4" wide so slightly wider than the wings. Cut the centers out replaced them with the paper for the sides and stamped vellum for the centre.
Some flatback gems for studs removing a few when finished to leave gaps. Used gold leaf pen with gaps for wear and tear covered with crackle glaze. Decided it was not distressed enough so gave the frame a thin coating of Viva crackle.
