Goodness the 30th technique out of Tim Holtz's book A Compendium of Curiosities just 5 more to go it has been a fabulous way to get to know these techniques and Linda has promised that these weekly challenges will be continued in a vain to be announced.
This week the technique is described on page 48 and is Altered Metal with Paint.
I have used 'my' page for She's chunky grungy 5" square page swap this time. The prompt is Steampunk things in the sky winged things. A balloon of some kind was always in my mind for this and Sam Poole's new stamps are perfect. Base is of course blended with DI air ship and bike stamped and clear embossed and then masked. Chimney and dial sun over stamped. Lady stamped onto paper cut out and coloured with Pro Markers. Metal charms (altered as instructed) were part of a gift last year, thank you Cath. Feathers to represent alternative things that fly in the sky with wings. Perhaps this is a little over the top but as this page comes back to me no one will mind. LOL

Wings, feathers and an air ship seem to all fit the bill to me. Love the stamping and the lady looking on. Great one Zoe.
