Week 33 just 2 more to go and Linda will have taken us through all the techniques in TH's Compendium of Curiosities. Shockingly I cannot tell you which are the 2 we still have to do. Been great though some of the techniques did not do a lot for me, some I already know and love as for the rest well now I know them I love them as well.
This is a know and love technique 'Altered Metal Alcohol Inks. As you know by now we are asked not to tell you about the featured technique but refer you to the book and this time page 56.
This metal flower was created using TSS tools and one of their wonderful embossing plates. I love working the embossing this way the outside edge of the metal may get a little marked in the process but that just adds to the distress effect. The base card was also coloured with Alcohol inks metal attached with eyelets and some leather cord threaded through on one side and knotted. Sorry about the picture but shiny surfaces are not that easy to photograph, but you know that already.
