A good blogging buddy and her OH are planning something special for this year's Poppy appeal. Read all about it here you will also see how you can help. Janet is asking blogland to make Poppy cards that she will sell at the event to raise more funds for the appeal. This card will be on it's way to Janet soon maybe with one or two others.
At Drunken Stamps this week we are challenged to make a card without a sentiment. Well for me at least the Poppy speaks for itself.
Clarity Poppy stamp used on silk card masked and brayered. Main image then coloured with Promarkers. Other Clarity stamps used for the wild flowers round the edge and the flock of birds both stamped in black. Rounded the corners and layer on vellum, red paper on top of hammered card.
Update: Was having a moment yesterday and renamed Janet! Have corrected now but apolgies to all for any confusion caused by my senior moment.
