On of the mountain of things on shelves here gathering dust waiting for me to use were these beer mats. Their time has come!
Painted each of them with Black Gesso. When dry stamped and embossed in WOW very fine gold the different images. Three of these have been coloured with Sakura pens so vibrant against the black. The forth (top right) the heart was filled in with Viva gloss paint which cracked a little perhaps it was to thick in places? Anyhow that gave me the idea of going over the top with crackle glaze.
These will be winging their way in the post for the swap later in the week. The swap is open to all members of the easy to join group, swaps to be with the hosts by the 1st April so you have time!
Sue's challenge this week at Tanda Teaser is to use gold on your work, abundance of gold here! The hearts used on all the Sakura coloured mats are from Tanda.
