Dreaming of Haute Couture

Thank goodness for all those bits we save for another day.   This week Our Dragon is dreaming of Haute Couture and very elegent she has made it look.  Me on the other hand, went looked at the theme and the brain shut down.   Haute Couture! thats high fashion subtle and elegant and stuff nuttin' here like that.

As I said Thank goodness for those bits and pieces.   Last May Sue, Janet, Lucy and I met up at the Stamp Attic, we were generously given the work room for our get togather.   Sue had brought with her some stamped images for us to colour using her Copics.   Well me being me did the colouring but did not use the image so for nearly a year it has sat biding its time in one of my many scrap boxes.

Not Haute Couture perhaps but a very long time ago when I was the sort of teenager represented here I was firmly of the belief that Fashion is for the young and the more mature woman didn't really need it.   Needless to say it was a long time ago and the passing of the years changes one perspective somewhat LOL.   Tag base cut down chipboard scrap blended with DI.   Flower off another project (glue dots and vellumn not a good mix) fibre for texture.   Worse 'fashion' crime of all, rub on letters.

  1. Very different for you, but it works brilliantly. Meg is wearing big boots and a mini kilt today, so it must be fashionable!

  11. Funny that is, coz I too have some of these images somewhere which I stamped, coloured and cut out when Maz lent me her collection. Trouble is, I can't find mine - lol.

Love the colours you've used, the image really 'pops' out, I think it's probably because you've left that white border around the image.

I'm not a fashion icon either and never have been, jeans and trainers work just fine for me - lol xxx
