Just for Fun - a new way with an old stamp

Just for Fun this week is all about falling in love with your stamps again using them with a new to you technique.

This is my very first attempt at Gesso stamping, so pleased with the result the very first image stamped is the one shown here.    White Gesso on an old Elusive Images Stamp, stamp cleaned off immediately.    Card then coloured with DI which the Gesso resists giving this pretty effect.

Is there a technique using your rubber in a different way that you would like to try and share with us?   Hope so Just for Fun players are so creative we are learning loads of new things from you all.

    Beautiful effect Zoe and that stamp is lovely must get me some Gesso. As for your challenge now what haven't I done with stamps Hmmm. Thanks by the way for your lovely words.

    I love this Zoe :)Gesso and the white paint Sam has used knocks spots off any of the so called white ink pads

    Wow this has come out great (especially for a first go), the stamp really lends itself to this technique and as the gesso resists the DI's you can colour it how you like - stunning results xxx

    This is gorgeous, I've never heard of this technique but I shall certainly give it a go. I love the way it appears to be matt rather than shiney which you get with white and embossing powder. You've also chosen the perfect stamp - love it x
