Usually the tangles are done almost absent mindly as a wind down in the evening with the TV on some American Cop show likely as not! This time it was a little different The Diva for her 13th challenge has instructed us to use our none dominant hand which in my case is my left. I do use both hands when drawing, if my right blocks the work then my left takes over but the right is back in control as soon as it can be! Some of the others following the challenge noted how their dominant hand snatched the pen back, not a problem in my case. It was my brain that was effected I'm used to just doodling away without thinking about the patterns or design but with pen in left hand simply could not think of a single pattern hence the rather basic shapes and lots of voids here LOL. A interesting and useful exercise might have another go sometime.

Thank you for taking time to stop and leave a comment I love reading what you have to say. Recently I have been experiencing an error message when I try to leave a comment on my return visit. I make every effort to to come over and see your art works and hope this glitch will be resolved soon. xxx

Looks interesting but harsh on the eyes lol Good job xx jo xx
ReplyDeletehope you are keeping well x
What an interesting idea. I must have a go...I'm left handed so it'll be interesting to see if my right hand can cope lol!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.

Thanks for your comment!! You non-dom tangle with its color accents reminded me of the soon-to-come summer. I saw birds in the air and tennis racquets along with the flowers.
ReplyDeleteThink you are correct about left-handers being a bit more able - it is a right-handed world and we have adapted. I grew up in a house full of righties and even learned to knit and crochet that way.
I'm in the middle of another right-handed tangle and finding it more meditative and deliberate that the one I did for the Diva. Will continue.....
An interesting exercise Zoe :)
ReplyDeleteLovely and free-spirited. You did a great job on it.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done. You did not spare yourself the line work and it turned out beautifully!
ReplyDeleteWell done! This zentangle is quite delightful - love the touch of color!
ReplyDeleteI have enough trouble with my right hand not alone my left.......lol The challenge set is downright cruel Zoe, but you have risen to it terrifically. Annette x
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting experiment. Cannot imagine how it would affect you like this but it did. Not sure I cope well with Zentangles at all but with my left hand?
ReplyDeleteWell done you for creating such a lovely result.
Hmmmm......not sure that my lft hand could even hold a pen, let alone create some doodles!!! Great effort with yours though xxxxx
ReplyDeleteBlimey if that's with your non dom hand...its great. I always seem to be able to doodle when on the phone but when I have to think of it such as in a project then nought happens :((
ReplyDeleteYour tangle is precious. I love the little hints of color at the center. It reminds me of fishnets with thier catch being pulled out of the sea. A treasure held within.
ReplyDeleteSo nicely done! The color makes it pop.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness perfection ! How did you manage ? I cant even hold a pen in my left hand never mind creating something so marvelous.

Strange how the brain works. Interesting patterns and shapes though.
