Well Frankie has had an operation on her hands so the poor love cannot do very much them now least of all craft so while she is recouping it is us the new DT that are holding down the fort. Which means that we have been let loose on Dragon's Dream TIO hope you will come over and support us.
Elizabeth, brave girl, has opted to be the first of us to host the challenge. You might have seen last week how different we all are in our crafting styles which is going to make it interesting to see how each of us interprets the themes. Elizabeth's theme is a tag with a pocket, can think of so many ways to do this but really really wanted to get messy and inky LOL
Standard tag coloured using the no wrinkle technique with Stormy Sky, Mustard Seed and Peeled paint DI. Added some Forever Green and Forever Blue perfect pearls to the wet ink before smearing the tag into it all. Over stamped in Soot Black using Butterfly Kisses collage set. The 'pocket' is an 8" square folded into a book (the technique is the one we were going to use for the little book of Secrets) The front has been distressed with the same yellow and green then stamped with the butterfly from the collage set. Using a piece of card used to mop up the tag inks cut little tags in the Sizzix die and stamped them with more of the same stamps.
The star and bar are FP, the star was one of my makes at the Little book of Secrets workshop that I met Frankie at the other week. It seemed nice to reference back to it with this project.
So its Tags with pockets this week dreamers at Dragon's Dream TIO hope you will join us.
