just for Fun - Circles

A bit of anything goes is always good fun and there were lots of ideas from the Just for Fun players last week!

Now we are into April it is Von's turn to set the challenges.  Von has opted for an overall theme this month of shapes and this week the theme is circles.  One circle or lots of circles in on or around your piece.

A good excuse for another make over for me this time a small Camembert tub.   This little ply wood boxes are just to good to discard and make handy little storage boxes for bits and bobs.

For this one some white velvet ribbon was stuck round the edge of the top and then some narrower stripy ribbon stuck over it. A round nestie cut the card to cover the top, and a creative expression mandala stamp used on acetate, five layers cut out and coloured with Viva Gloss paint. The longest part was waiting for the paint to dry before sticking the acetate togather and on top of the lid.

Its always interesting to see what everyone makes hope you have a circle to join us with at Just for Fun.
