Thank you for all your kind wishes yesterday and yes I am today yet another day older LOL. Some special people (one's who knew and there are not that many) sent lovely cards picture below. Thank you Sam, Joy, Andrea, Alison, Angie, Jackie and someone who forgot to sign their card! no clues in the postmark for that one either LOL.
Had a lovely day enjoying the garden watching the IMPs exploring the area where the long grass had been. Of course some crafting was involved.
Continuing my search of new to me challenge sites (must get a job there is a real danger of cute from all this blog hopping) anyway came across Stamping B who have a fun challenge this week. They are asking players to make their own background paper and not to use any from shop brought pads. Perfect, the table protection used for the basket and other messy projects recently was far to nice to just bin, over stamped the ink swipes in green with a Tanda Floral Flourish.
OK so what to do with the background? Tuesday Throwdown are looking for floral themed makes and Wednesday Stamper are celebrating the arrival of spring. The girl with flowers in the nestie circle is one of my favourite stamps so an excuse to use it is always welcome. Nestie cut, image stamped and embossed in gold then coloured with promarkers. A Craft Stamper cover stamp stamped 9 times and cutout to make the flowers at the top. All layered up on green card with a gold mirra card mat, oh did I say layered up? that means this works for this months Artistic Stamper challenge.
Oh yes the Birthday cards! These are the lovely hand made cards I received.
