The days are just flowing past now and there is lots of time for crafting :) A very good thing.
This fortnight the Stamp man have introduced a new DT member and chucked him in at the deep end getting him to set his first challenge! Neil has chosen Embossing for the theme this time.
Ummm Embossing = texture = I like a lot.
Playing with the melt pot the other day using Cosmic Shimmer clear and coloured UTEE and a rubber 'mould' created the circle shape. With that as my starting point decided this was to be a canvas with a grungy machinelike piece with lots of metallics. A5 size stretched canvas lightly coloured with copper rub on pigment and then touches of green in the same medium. A piece of copper coloured metal run through Big shot with Tracks folder and then rubbed over with Alcohol Inks. Green card cut with a Nestie and worked with DI. Cobbles stamped in gray and then the Sam Poole car stamped in black and clear embossed. More of the copper rub on was rubbed over the car image and edges of the card. The sides felt a little bare, the tape was stamped directly onto the canvas in black.
