I thought I'd share with you a little tutorial for the twisted box fold. I've shown this style several times here and it really is very simple to do, although until I gave Sam these notes no-one else seems to use it. The end result is my entry into this months Pennyblack at Allsorts and this weeks Moving along with the times, thanks to the MAWTT team for putting me into their top 3 last week. So if you just want to see the end result scroll down but if you fancy seeing how I did it scroll slowly.
Twisted Box Fold
You will need
· 1 sheet A4 card
· Cutting tool
· Scoring tool and ruler to keep it straight
· Bone folder
· Matching envelope in C5 size
Score each card front on the diagonal both going in the same direction
You now have lots of surfaces to decorate, have fun
If this fold is done using two square cards the result is a square shape that opens in the same way. A square card will fit into an envelope made for one of the square cards. For this fold using A6 cards you will need an envelope one size up.
This is the Black, White and one other colour, Gold, made for April's Penny Black at Allsorts. All the stamps are Pennyblack.
For MAWTT the requirement is a card with more than on fold but not an easel card.
