Gingersnaps colour challenge

Think Orient and the strong colour combination Red, Gold and Black come to mind. For their latest colour challenge Gingersnaps are asking for just two of these colours to feature on your piece, Red and Gold.  

The black base for this piece is mount-board scrap, stamped on the far right right top in red ep the suggestion that you Laugh as much as you breath and love as long as you live.   Below the ribbon also in red ep are the words Good Friend.

Gold Mirror card stamped and embossed in Gold, a small vellum mat sits top left the knotted cord attached with triple layers of UTEE in gold.   The whole then mounted on a red 12" x 12" canvas with three coins for good luck.

The orient themed challenges at Gingersnaps this month have been inspiring thank you girls.

This week the challenge at Allsorts is also Oriental so am entering this panel there.

    Have to confess I really enjoyed the theme as well, it seems so long since Oriental was the 'in' things and nice to dust off those stamps.
