Sir Stampalot May challenge is 'Magical Worlds', knowing my love of fantasy the only surprise is that it has taken me this long to enter LOL
Steampunk well definitely magical worlds think Edwardian Sci fi 'War of the worlds', 'The time machine' all those elegant costumes both Ladies and Gentlemen wore, and the fantasies they wrote much as I love modern Sci fi there is something special about Jules Verne and Co.
This slightly altered wooden frame then. Frame from the £1 shop already stained but not varnished so it came ready to alter. Using the new Tando Cogs Mask marked the basic frame with Distress inks in Vintage Photo and Rusty Hinge. Next Tando Cogs from Large Heart Cog set, Large Cog set and Small Cog set, these were coloured with Distress Inks, and then Glimmer mists. Cogs arranged and then glued together, once they were fixed the cog mask laid over and Cosmic Shimmer in silver sprayed over. Cog piece attached to frame and then some washers, altered glue, Viva Ferro paste and various metal embellishments. Needing a picture stamped a butterfly in Brilliance ink and remembered that I have a shrink piece from the same stamp.
Guess this fits

You made a lot from a humble frame, loving the elements you added that yes, they conjure up not only images of steampunk but also of magical worlds.
