No crafting Friday

Yesterday (Friday) was the first day in ages when no crafting went on here.   Nothing all day that involved ink or paper or scissors and it was not even lack of mojo that led to this sorry state of affairs.    Despite my best efforts to keep everything else at bay yesterday I was over run with stuff.   Still its done now and as its a long week-end quite a bit of creativity is anticipated.

Not having anything new to show you thought I'd share a  project that have not been published here previously, this wire torso on a canvas.    Canvas covered with design paper with areas of the design outlined in glitter.   Barn Door DI worked over the top which was then stamped over edge of canvas have black DI blended over.

Wire Torso shaped from a flat template well a picture in a magazine, two separate pieces from the bust more wire shaped the lower half and spans it.   Lace ribbon and little buttons finish this fun canvas.

It just happens that Daring Card Makers this week are looking for fashion themed makes this week! hope this fits the bill.

  11. Oooops, hope it didn't have too much to do with me phoning you and bending your ear, sorry if it did!!!!

Anyway, back to the canvas. The barn door DI fits in perfectly with the theme and really sets the scene for the wonderful array of other elements displayed on there.
