WOW we were completely bowled over by the response last week to our first Craft-Room Challenge so many people joined in, just keeping up with commenting was like a full time job, to everyone who played along Thank you. Thank you as well to Feline Playful for adding as to their list which made our launch such a success.
Time now for a new challenge and a theme set by our wonderful Kim AKA A Gypsy Angel. Kim got to thinking about the paper dolls she and most of us, played with as a child. Did you have any? In my time they came in books you cut the doll out and then all her cloths which had tabs to hold them on. Our challenge to you is to make an altered version of those dolls. Take a look at what the team have come up with, they are fabulous.
For this doll I made an ATC torso stamped with an Inkadinkdo butterfly and then coloured with the melted wax crayon technique I've fallen in love with. The arms and legs were cut from cardboard and covered with basic gray paper. Very small brads attach all the parts giving the doll moving joints. For a head I used a TH sun.
Not the best doll you will see by any imagination, it is the very first I ever made! Has this idea stirred memories and idea's in your mind? If yes why what not have a play and share the results with us at Craft-Room Challenge.
