Well for me anyway!
and I am just so excited to share this with you. Starting next Friday and over the following 8 week's at Tando's new Tando Creatives On Line Class you will see a different page from my book of Tando.
A couple of week's back I mentioned to Di that my plan to make a book using 6 inch square sheets of Tando. Di asked if it could be a series on the Tando blog, then a bit later she asked me if it could be a series of on line classes to start a new site! Could it? Oh yes! So now I am busy making the pages and taking lots of pictures as I go.
Each week we will be sharing with you a page from my Book of Tando. With pictures and descriptions of each step you are invited to work along with me to make your own book. You probably already have to hand most of the materials you will need but just to let you check I used;
6" x 6" squares of thick Tando (8 of these to make the whole book)
Tando Book Plates
Tando Bird and Branch (8 in a set 1 on each page)
Tando Music Mask
Shaving foam
Various inks, alcohol, inkabilities, sprays
Die Punch letters
Andy Skinner Stamps (Batik set)
Acrylic block
Distress stains, Peeled Paint
Adirondack Express dye pad
A plastic ruler
A plastic non porous place mat (actually it's a mat to put under a cats feed bowl on the floor so sturdy)
Modge Podge
A fast drying strong adhesive
Various Cosmic Shimmer Embossing powders
Sakura Gold pen-touch
Pokey tool
Heat gun
Water brush
Kitchen towel
So gather your supplies and check back on the 8th July to join in with some good old fashioned inky, messy fun. Oh and you might want thin rubber gloves, I didn't use them and my hands were many interesting colours at the end of the session :)
