No not another of my masks! using masks.
We have a new challenge starting today at Craft-Room Challenge and after a two week feast of White on White we are really looking forward to see what you make of this one. It is the wonderfully talented Esther who selected this weeks challenge. Esther has had us all using masks or masking. Its a technique I use quite a lot but set as a challenge could not for the life of me summon up any ideas!
Then I got some new Tanda Stamps, these are new in stock at Craft Room. The vintage lady from Retro Women set 2 looks like a sophisticated world traveler and so she has been teamed up with the suitcase and the globe from Travel Set 1. Various travel themed papers have been torn and layered as a background. A sheet of acetate cut just slightly smaller than the card stamped in stayzon Timber Brown with various modes of transport from Tanda. A nestie topper coloured with DI Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet and Dusty Concord unusual colours for me but they seem to fit the background. Finally the suitcase was stamped and masked, then the lady who was also masked and the globe stamped. The lady has been coloured with ProMarkers.
We love visiting your blogs and seeing the wonderful things up all make and for the next fortnight we are eagerly looking forward to your masking. If you don't already know if you add the shop logo and a link to http://www.craft-room.co.uk/ to your sidebar you will be entered into the prize draw for £10 to spend at Craft Room . See you soon at Craft-Room Challenge.
