Thursday has rolled round again and it is now August so time for Sam to take the lead at Just for Fun! Thank you all for your enthusiastic response to the July challenges just know you will enjoy August.
I loved this week's challenge Shades of White or white on white. Lets face it this is all about layers and layers of texture and I love texture. So this sample is a small canvas board, Dreamweaver stencil and pearlised embossing paste. Not so very long ago one of our lovely Just for Fun family Donna sent me some die cut 'clearly for art'. The flower shapes have been stamped with white ink and heated with a hot air gun to reshape them. Silicone glue holds them in place on the canvas with a flat back white pearl in the center. Just for Marie this layered flower has been carefully placed top right.
Next Pearl colour coated Metal cut with the sizzix flourish and then coated with more embossing paste this time the crackle one. More die cutting, one of the slim sizzix dies cutting white vellum flowers. Just to make sure there is enough white layers and texture a strand of white fibre has been twisted into the metal die cut.
So hope you will be as enthusiastic as I am about this one and share your shades of white with us after all it is Just for Fun.
Thought I'd share this with
