Very late last night at the end of a telephone conversation with Sue this card got made. It was gone 1am when it was finished to late to photograph and blog! Well when your TV dies what else is there to do but craft, actually what else is there to do anyway?
The main image, a vintage sewing machine, is from Tanda's aqua range. I stumbled on it by chance and fell in love with it. Its is quite a big image so this is a large card. All card coloured with DI Old Paper, Scattered Straw, Wild Honey and Antique Linen. The image was stamped with Vintage Photo then water coloured with Aged Mahogany and Pumice Stone. The sentiment coloured in the same way and then heat embossed with WOW powder.
A cotton doily (pack of 10 from Poundland) has been sprayed with Coffee Shop glimmer mist, and then rinsed out. Once it was dry it has been cut in two and used as the first layer. The main image has been die cut with the cuttlebug jigsaw die and then attached to some brown card with strips of lace down either side. The background images are also Tanda Stamps in a random arrangement.
Went to bed satisfied and am still pleased with the final card this morning so thought I'd share it now, as my entry to:-

Zoe this is an awesome image. It makes me long for the days when I had two antique sewing machines that I purchase for $25 each. I brought them home and got them working just fine! I sold them when I moved to GA 20 years ago. Boo Hoo-this brought back memories. Your card is just awesome. The lace looks fabulous and so fitting for your theme.Thank you so much for playing along in Speedy the Cat's Challenge this week. It is a pleasure to come to visit to see what you made for us. Hope you can play again next week. Good luck in the drawing.
