Another Christmas card

Yes this is No.6 or is it No. 7 this year LOL   Think there will have to be a few more yet.

Nothing used on this card is less than a year old including the base card stock.    Not that it will stop me adding more seasonal things to my stash this year.    Off to Ally Pally on Sunday with the move just a short while off it may be my last visit there.

So a Christmas card, DCWV base card over the top a cut down sheet of Basic Grey paper.    Some old red twine attached top and bottom.   Nestie cut cream card stamped and embossed in gold Aged Mahogany DI blended round the edges.    A little more ribbon for added interest, think it is quite an old fashioned looking card.

I'm entering this card into:
Penny black at Allsorts   -   Get ahead for Christmas
Christmas cards all year round  -  Only use things that are more than one year old.
Crafters Companion  -  Christmas Wishes
Oldie but a Goodie  -  Christmas in September

  4. Such a pretty card Zoe. I have the PB single dove stamp and was just looking for it yesterday to stamp onto a notelet card. It is very versatile and one of my "little" favourites.
I do hope you have a great time at Ally Pally. I am going on Saturday with my crafting buddies.
Thank you for sharing your lovely card with us at Penny Black at Allsorts and good luck in the prize draw.

  11. Yes agree there Zoe, you have achieved the 'old fashioned' look very well. Desipte all the modern colourways of Crimbo cards, I still think the traditional colours work best. Call me a 'old fashioned' gal - and my feet certainly feel like it after yesterday.

Hope all goes well with the move, cath us with you again soon.
