Blue and Silver

Hooray, found time to have a little play yesterday!

Have had this frame in the pile of to be fiddled with.   It is a not so cheap, cheap plain wood from from the children's section of that big crafter's supermarket.

Painted the frame with Weathered Wood Distress Stain, when dry embossed it with Tanda's Klimt Borders.   Then painted over it with pale blue paint dabber and reheated the ep.   This pulled the ep forward but not quite enough so it was stamped and embossed over the top.    Viva Gloss Gel in Blue and Transparent for the coils and flowers, Viva Pearl Pen added the dots.

Inside the background is watercolour paper cut to size and 'painted' over with a naked water-brush to lay down a layer of moisture.   Various blue inks and paints were then dripped or sprayed onto it.    Some heat resist acetate has also been cut to size then stamped and embossed with Tanda's Klimt set 2.

No surprise that this is my entry this time to the Tanda Teaser which this fortnight is Blue and Silver.   Sue who runs the challenge also designed the Tanda stamps used.   This also fits Alter it Monthly where this month the challenge is 'Tree, Branch, Leaf and Twig'.

Right back to mundane matters, have fun

  8. Hi Zoe,
Glad to see you found time to get crafty as you must be very busy packing ATM..at least I hope you are..how's the move going?

Great entry...just one thing though..hope you don't mind...I would have just left the frame with the swirls down the sides and left the top and bottom of the frame blank. Otherwise I think it is lovely.

    Thanks for playing!
