Nearly the end of September and what a month it has been! Packing now well underway the move is not far off.
Usually when we have a five week month at Just for Fun we make the 5th week anything goes. This time Von suggested we might add a twist and make it Anything goes except a card. So that is what this week's challenge is anything but a card.
At 'The Works' they have these 6" x 4.5" canvasses with easels. Coloured the easel with Distress Stain, Walnut Stain and then went over it in places with Peeled Paint. The canvas has been painted with Ranger Dabbers, various light greens went on first some with a paint brush some with the sponge top. Next some Eco-Green glue run across the canvas and also in a kinda flower shape top left. When the glue was dry I went over some of it with Pearl Dabber. The little 7UP can stuck at the bottom of the only un-coloured glue line. Earth tone dabbers here and there and then some Tando cloud shapes which have some blue Paper Perfect on top. Needing something to stick them to the canvas with, spread a smear of Viva Ferro across the canvas and stamped into it with Tanda Stamps Crackle that had just been dampened for easy release the clouds pushed into the wet paste. Another Tando Stamp, the grass, stamped alone the bottom and onto the little wooden plaque with Pearl Dabber. Added the reindeer moss and wooden plaque and there it sat.
Chatting on the telephone one evening the raffia in its box caught my eye grabbed a piece of that and some shells. That was it, lots and lots of interesting textures here and a lot of fun in the making.
Some stunningly creatively people regularly join us at Just for Fun so looking forward to seeing what they and anyone else who joins us comes up with.
