This week Neet has selected our challenge which is a style one. Neet has chosen Vintage a great favourite of hers and of many other crafters.
A new to me Tanda stamp, from their Aqua range, is this vintage sewing machine. My late Aunt had one just like it and used to run up all sorts of things. I have no idea where it is now not sure it was in the house when she passed in 2000 but if it was then it will have been sold along with everything else.
It has been stamped here onto pearlised card cut in a nestie layered on two other nestie cut mats. DI inks used on the topper edges and also on the tan coloured base card. The little sentiment is also a Tanda stamp, one of a set of words Andrew ran off for me a couple of years ago.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great piece Zoe , that stamp is fab, my Grandmother had a machine like this and my Dads sister had one too, I think her sons still have it , they make fab pieces of furniture now, and even better if they are in good working order.

ReplyDeleteHI Zoe lovely card the stamp is fabby and used with those colours and shapes (the back card shape remind me of a 1930's mirror)give it a real vintage look. My gran also had a sewing machine like this it brings back lovely memories. Hugs Sandra XX
