This week Von has proposed the theme which is Words. Don't use a lot of words in my art and craft but thought a newspaper has lots of words ideal for this. The base is water colour board covered with newsprint and then painted with white gesso. Next a La Blanch stamp of the rose in versafine green, then a few sentiments stamped in sepia. Tattered flowers and tattered leaves dies used with more news print, flowers layered up held together with a brad and then sprayed with silver spray and sparkle then stuck to the board with a leaf tucked under. Little paper flowers dotted around and some lace wrapped around the board and tied.
The different things people come up with never cease to amaze me, both from the rest of the team and our 'players' if you would like to join us we are Just for Fun.

I have never noticed that you don't use a lot of words in your artwork. What an inspired idea to use newspaper for making your flowers. Now that gives me an idea (or two). Thanks Zoe.
