Well we are here now and pretty much settled in, so much so that the mojo returned yesterday and the first craft project here got under way. Thank you to all of you who sent me new home cards they are all stunning will share them with you all soon.
The IMPs travelled well, over 4 hours in the car with no travel sickness or anything else! They soon found their way around the house and normal, for them, family life resumed but they have not yet asked to go out.
So with the un-packing done it was time to get out the inks, the only thing was where to start. Checking Feline Playful for challenges Fashionable Stamping popped out with their colour challenge of COFFEE & CREAM WITH DARK CHOCOLATE.
Dark chocolate card stock makes the base card in tent fold. Marianne doily die cut rich creamy paper stock to form an overlapping mat. Latte coloured card cut with a couple of Nesties and stamped with Espresso Adirondack ink, the edge of the main topper coloured with Vintage Photo. A double strip of lace representing the froth of cappuccino. So which stamp to use? Tanda's 'Cup of Tea' from 'Retro Women set 2' seemed to fit! The Happy Birthday is from a smiley stamp.
We are also asked which our favourite coffee/tea drink is, Coffee black or Cappuccino. Tea only Redbush or mint/fruit.
I am also sharing this with Tanda Teaser where Sue posted a Sepia Tones challenge a few days early!
