For a long time I've been wanting to make a button necklace this week's Just for Fun challenge gave me reason to get on and do it.
Von used to 'do' upholstery and continues to enjoy sewing when she can. So what could be more natural then for her to set this week's recycling challenge to use things you find in the sewing box or the wardrobe.
The button's used here have been threaded onto different fibers some back to back, some nestled into a larger button, but mostly threaded as singles. Some old green beads threaded onto acrylic thread complete the necklace.
Von's and Neet's fabulous samples are on their blogs and on the Just for Fun site. Hope you will take a look and join in with us.
