Well can you ever make too many? Got a bit of a shift on yesterday and made a few am sharing a couple with you today. Fortunately today is wall to wall blue, ideal to taking photo's getting the washing on the line and going out so no crafting yet today!
This white on white card was inspired by a number of challenges and is not strictly w o w but includes Silver and from the basic grey DP white stamped and embossed panel a hint of pink which is echoed in the thread with white fluff down the inside edge of the same panel. The first layer of the card is vellum with a snowflake pattern marked out in silver. Corrugated card painted with Picket Post stain, then a loose weave paper in a doily shape, more vellum this time with Christmas thoughts printed in white all topped with a little Christmas stamp from some years back embossed with white ep and then blue brilliance ink over the top so a little resist going on here. Finally cooking foil snowflakes cut with a punch, and a double layer of ribbon at the top.
The challenges this is for are:
Fashionable stamping - Dreaming of a white Christmas,
Cards und More - Snowflakes
Top Tip Tuesday - Use Silver, White, and a hint of your choice
Oldie but a goodie - Red & Green must not be seen
There's Magic in the Air - Vintage or Shabby Chic Christmas Card
Then there was this little one layer card which came out really rather well. The Holly and Berries stamp I got from my friend Julia of Craft-Room, when she sold some stamps off earlier this year and it has proved so useful. This is the first time it has been used (by me) in almost all its glory.
The gold heat embossed greeting is from Tanda's Poinsettia set. The greeting was masked and the holly stamp used in black memento the colouring is Pro Markers.
This card is for:
Tanda Teaser - Single layer Christmas Cards
Crafty Card Makers - Heat Emboss
Stamps R Us - Emboss it.
Right going to get the paper now, it's Jobs day and you never know there may even be one or two advertised!
