Wow Craft-Room Challenge time again seems like we only just started our last challenge of travel and postcards, great entries again the winners will be announced next Tuesday, including the winner of the random draw, they win £10 to spend at Craft-Room on line shop.
Onto the latest Challenge, this time the very talented Hazel chose to challenge us all by asking us to make our own flowers. You really set us to work this time Hazel. A little while ago Von made a flower using the bag that holds cereal inside the box, since then I've saved mine time to put it to the test. Remembering some HOTP templates to fold flowers, the designs were traced onto the bag with black pen, folded and then coloured with Alcohol inks. Another set flat flower's were cut out and coloured in the same way these were layered and attached together with a large HOTP brad. Not entirely happy some coloured feathers were added to the mix. With the large flower completed it was stuck to a candle which in turn was stuck into a foil tray that had also been coloured with Alcohol ink. The small cereal packet flowers were stuck to the front and green feathers added.
I'm sure there are dozens of ways to make flowers, in fact I know there are because the rest of the team have made them. All their samples are on the Craft-Room Challenge site so you will not have to go far for inspiration.
