Who says cards for men are difficult not Craft-Room Challenge followers! In the last fortnight there were some cracking entries, not limited to cards either!
Now it is Debi's turn to challenge us all, this fortnight Debi would like us to think of Postcards and Travel.
For my card I started with a piece of Postcard sized Glossy card. Using Creative Expression Stamps and Versafine inks. Firstly the Eiffel Tower scene was stamped and then masked other stamps from the same set were used around the edge, off the edge and over the mask. With the mask still in place DI worked over the card and stamped images, the mask removed and some of the Scattered Straw DI gently pushed over the main image.
The post card was then matted onto a beige card mat. The base card is cream hammered card a chocolate box ribbon runs down one side and over it some pink lacy ribbon. The area to the right of the ribbon has been worked with DI and the topper then attached. Finally some green hemp cord has been tied round the left edge of the card with an Eiffel Tower charm attached.
The girls at Craft-Room Challenge have once again made some stunning samples to inspire you we all hope you will join in with us this fortnight.
We still have our second Treasure Hunt as well, this is free to enter and the prize is a fabulous Indigo Blu stamp plate why not have a go, someone has to win!
Fashionable Stamping are thinking of Times Gone by so thought I'd share this with them.
The Stamp man is looking for collage backgrounds, mine is more of a collage foreground but they might forgive me.
Try it on Tuesday reminding us that it is the 3rd Tuesday in the month! have an anything goes theme of 'Wish you were here'.
