Treated myself to a new crape maker the other day been looking for one to use with FP it's a great way to dry heat FP. A little pine box in the to be altered mountain that came with me needed attention and I needed no excuse.
Firstly the box has been painted with Viva 'Inca Gold' in a green gold. Then it was stamped with Lightening black and an LB stamp. Time to heat up the hot plate; Liz Welch has got some rather fun metal pieces in stock for oozing, I used two leaves with green FP, you can see the result better in the picture below. Red and Fuchsia FP and cut to the size of some metal shapes heated and cut, some of these had ribbon over the top for further oozing. Some green wire bent to follow the flow of the stamped design glued into place with an FP flower on top. Finally coloured rub and buff type wax worked over the FP and edges of the box, more storage.
Here is the top from an overhead shot which shows how well the FP oozed through the metal leaf shape. The little 3 sided shapes have been welded together and a pretty bead set into the center.
I'm sharing this box with the following challenges.
