Last week I was very excited to win the Rogue Redhead Design's Challenge. I've been hankering after Shar's stamps to a while but with the employment situation as it is could not fund them. Now thanks to the prize and the 1st Anniversary sale Shar has I've got my inky little paws on some. Had to get them out and have a play.
The latest challenge is to use just one designer paper. Oh heck DP! never know what to do with it despite having stacks of the stuff. A5 size watercolour board coloured with DI, scattered straw, denim blue and the new Evergreen Bough. Then to make them merge more the board was sprayed with iridescent gold Glimmer Mist. The fern and the seed head stamped onto the board with various inks, a strip of DP laid across the panel and some rafia wound round the bottom. A Kanban shaped mat coloured with Scattered Straw DI, the flowers stamped with Brilliance Lightening black and coloured with Whisper Pens.
So of course this is being entered into Rouge Redhead Designs and also

Very pretty piece, and congrats on your win! Valerie
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Zoe! I love how you've merged all the ink colours together - they look fabulous alongside your DP. I am finding that I don't use nearly as much DP as I used to (therefore, still have loads!). Maria x
