Well after all the preparations and excitement the day has passed I hope it was a good one for you all. For me yesterday was a perfect day!
Had a project all lined up for the holiday but just did not fancy doing it when it came time. Knowing I had yet to enter the Gingersnap's
Candelabras, Chandeliers and Candles Challenge. When doing Saturday's Feline list Just for Girls make a sleeve for a pillar candle also caught my attention.
Don't happen to have a pillar candle to hand but in famous kitchen draw there was a packet of 5 regular candles and 4 sticks of cinnamon sticks. Bundled these together with a black raffia bow then melted wax crayon's, with a heat gun, to drip down the bundle and over the bow. Made a wrap with blue cellophane, and then cut some yellow cellophane with a jagged top and with slots in the piece to suggest flames. Cerise holey ribbon (great for oozing FP) with another ribbon threaded through tied around the base. A little gem topped pin tops of the ribbon knot.
Sharing this with Sparkles Forum Challenge Anything but a Christmas card. Enjoy Boxing Day everyone.

Great idea with the candles, Zoe! Hugs, Valerie
