I give you the moon and the stars

Yes I made a sparkly Christmas decoration, a lot of people know that my idea of these is to open the curtains to see all the lights my neighbours put up and I can report that my new neighbours have already started to decorate the outside areas!

What is this all about then?  Well as we already know today is the first of December!   That means its time for a new challenge at Tando Creative.   DT is mixed faith and we want anyone and everyone to feel welcome in joining our challenge not just Pagans like me.   This months challenge is celebrating what ever winter celebrations you and your family enjoy.

For my hanging I used bits from different sets of Tando, the star grab bag, the  small moon and stars set and one of the scalloped squares from a third set.   All the Tando was sprayed with Cosmic Shimmer, Copper for the Moon Silver for anything else.   A wooden baton has been covered with silver ribbon, the star between it and the moon is attached by wire that was also wrapped round the baton.   Jewellery  acrylic thread suspends the moon from the light fitting and for all the other hanging elements some covered with seed beads some left bare so the stars appear to just hang in space.   Some glitter glue and tinsel to bling it all up.
