Quite simply this was inspired by November/December Cloth Paper Scissors. Cannot point to any one article just got my copy Thursday and have been completely blown away.
Circular stretched canvas, thickly painted with blue and Yellow acrylic and left to dry over night. Circle shapes made using a cotton doily coloured with Glimmer Mist, and a cotton fat square cut with dies. More Sari Silk yarn swirled over one cotton circle then stitched in place with bright yellow thread. Buttons sewn onto all the circles with same thread. More Sari Silk crochet in three single chains. Modelling paste spread over the canvas, a swirl stamped into the wet paste with champagne coloured encore ink. Fabric's pressed into paste to stick them to the canvas. A circular piece of mica also added with watch pieces inside. Once the modelling paste had dried some Viva craco spread around the edge of the canvas and touched into the body. Finally some blue Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic tapped found the stamped swirl.
This is just one of those things that have to be done just right then for Inspire me Friday's
No idea what Card Crafter's Circle will make of this but they did say Anything goes!
Frosted Designs are looking for something new, the stamp used is so new it only arrived in the post yesterday morning so not even part of the original idea!
And at Crop Stop they have a challenge running for 2 weeks luckily for me at it is 'Round and Round' guessing that's circles.
Last day of 2011 or if you live by another calendar just another day, which ever if you feel like celebrating enjoy the party.
