Little blue and brown chest

Well I think I'm sorted now are you?   Even if there is a last minute card from someone I have not thought of its a bit late LOL Time now to just enjoy the season.

Allsorts this week have a colour challenge Blue and Brown.   Being in the mood for a little altering and 3d converted a plain little chest.   Coloured the box with Distress stain, walnut, and lined the inside with some blue crushed velvet.

Covered the top with Modelling paste and then lots and lots of broken watch parts which just stick in the drying paste topped it with Glamour Dust.   Wrapped some cord around the base of the box, and stamped keys on each of the ends.   Once the paste was dry some Viva Ferro spread over the top covering some of the watch parts and pulling a few out these now sit in the Viva paste.   The final element was Viva metallic blue/silver paint touched over the paste.
