Feeling a bit overdosed on cards and paper projects so decided to do something a little different. Last September at Ally Pally on the Artistic Stamper Stand there were wonderful Twisted Sari Yarn skein's just crying to be made into jewellery.
Yesterday the time was right to see what I could do. First off made three lengths of yarn by plaiting single lengths together. Each plaited piece is a different length, tied off with a knot at each end. A 20" chain with large links has the yarn strands threaded through, a metal heart hangs from each end of the chain. More metal charms and acrylic beads have been attached to the ends of the yarn strands. On my last visit to the Eternal Maker in Chichester prior to moving I stocked up on buttons including the large one used here with the longest strand threaded through the holes before the beads were attached. I think it worked rather well LOL.
Lots of anything goes challenges around at the moment I'm entering this in a few.
